Affordable and clean energy, a challenge for the present

The SDGs are key to saving the planet. If we want to (and we must) reverse the alarming situation in which the planet is in. Achieving the objectives assembled in the Agenda 2030 is essential to creating a more social, equal and greener world.

What are the SDGs?

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an urgent call for action to all countries in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies to improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth. All of this while tackling climate change and working to preserve our ecosystems.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was launched by a UN Summit in New York on 25-27 September 2015 and is aimed at ending poverty of all forms. The UN 2030 Agenda envisages “a world of universal respect for human rights and human dignity, the rule of law, justice, equality and non-discrimination”.
